That section about Diana idol makers applies as much to the modern Church as it did to the pagan predecessors of the church. The 'virgin mary' is Artemis, AKA Diana. The 'virgin mary' is NOT Miriam the mother of Jesus of Nazareth.

Those who point out the mariolatry and virgin worship of the Church are hated in the same way the pagan craftsmen wanted to protect their lucrative trade. Now the bishopric has a lucrative trade in parishoners.
