A tribute to the first arcade machine I ever saw: Space Invaders. I was mesmerized by its light and magic. It sparked my interest in games, and later I became one of the first game developers in the Netherlands. 💚

Does anyone have recommendations for a *specific* PS2 to USB adapter they're using on their IBM Model M keyboard?

I tried a no-brand passive adapter, which didn't work (I do get some LED activity for a few seconds, so *something* is happening). Doing a bit of research, it looks like I need an active adapter for a keyboard of this vintage. However, there's quite a bit of contradictory info floating around.

Any suggestions? This is a 1397661 with an SDL to PS2 cable, if that matters. I'd leaning towards the cheapest option for now, because I don't even know if the keyboard is functional (I'd hate to spend $50+ on an adapter to find out the keyboard is unrepairable). Keys all travel smoothly and there doesn't seem to be any water damage, but who actually knows?

if you grew up in canada (or in some parts of the US which got the show via PBS) in the 80s/90s, you might remember Owl/TV

i can't think of a more wholesome, future-positive, environment conscious and upbeat kids science education show. it embraced exactly what it meant to be canadian: the excitement of living your life as a cooperative steward, and the world as a place to be explored instead of exploited

The owl then rides a skateboard, falls off, and the ends with OWL/TV painted on a wall by a white rat.
