I have a new laptop that came with #Windows 11 Pro.
I prefer to use an operating system rather than a surveillance system and am going to wipe it in favor of #Linux.
I would like to retain the possibility of loading Win 11 back on here should I ever need to.
I don't have a physical product key and its my understanding that the license is now tied to my #Microsoft account.

For anyone using a third party Mastodon app I highly recommend you check out their privacy policy. While Mastodon nor most instances data mine, I’ve leaned many apps (even many developed by one person) do collect alarming amounts of data.
Mastodon itself has no use for this data , which means they are collecting to use for their own means.
