Tooi is the successor to 'toot'. It is /way/ nicer so far.

In addition to being 'keyboard-driven' it also responds to the mouse pointer. This is efficient when using a keyboard with a touchpad.

Hmm, seems that @tut is no longer able to load notifications in #Pixelfed.

That's a bummer.

I'm sad that it's no longer under development, as it's my absolute favorite #Fedi #TUI.

It now has all the features needed to run as a lite TUI Usenet client. Today I added X-post — forward an article you're reading straight to other newsgroups — which is what it needed to be fully usable for everyday use.

Users should not have to foo --help 2>&1 |less just to figure out how to use your program.

Just use stdout.

Man, toot-tooi is SUCH a polished terminal #Fediverse client.

I'm just not sure if it's possible to use your own editor, rather than the built-in one. That's a deal-breaker.

Also, the interface is too bloated for 80x25. It's all very pretty, but obviously meant to be used with a maximized terminal, or a small-font-size terminal. That ain't the way I roll. ^__^
