@elsua54 They / #Mastodon / #Loops / #GNU etc all "have to" incorporate / tend to the needs of their users (beyond just software) otherwise they die / get taken over / stagnate.

Maybe no one foresee's the baby-sitting of users / fans or even partnering but that's the natrual life-cycle which weirdly in the end maybe comes back to "survival of the fittest" where we need to form a mass herd and defend all types of perimeters, else we get eaten and assimilated into those that do form groups/corps.
