So many chores on our list today.
We cleaned up the lawn mower after yesterday's marathon mowing adventure.
Breaking down cardboard was up next.
Summer says this is good news. She is embarrassed by the stack of boxes when the deck workers are here.
What she really means is that she loves tearing up cardboard because that is the only time she is allowed to tear up anything.

She was so happy to play with something new.

Summer isn't sure how to manage without her pal. She was up every two hours last night.
By five am she was done trying to sleep.
A trip to the beach seemed like a good distraction so we hopped in the truck and hoped we had enough gas to get us there and back.
We did.
She is stressed so she puked all over our backpack and my jacket.
Oh well. It will all wash.
One she got to playing in the sand she was pretty happy.
We came home just in time to take a call from Stanford. Our doctor there has figured out what is wrong and how to fix it. Next is figuring out if a doctor here can handle the repair or if they fly him south. Finally more answers than questions.
Breakfast time for Summer before the dog sitter arrives and I'm off to the hospital.
