'Für Betroffene können falsche Diagnosen allerdings gravierende Konsequenzen haben - etwa beim Wechsel in die private Krankenversicherung oder beim Abschluss einer Berufsunfähigkeitsversicherung. Stehen in der Akte Krankheiten, die bei ihnen nie existierten, kann das zu höheren Beiträgen für sie führen oder dazu, dass Versicherungen im Schadensfall nicht zahlen.

Auch das ZDF-Magazin "frontal" berichtete kürzlich von Patienten, die Diagnosen in ihren Patientenakten fanden, von denen sie gar nichts wussten. In einem Fall sagte ein Versicherter, dass er laut Akte ein Kollaps-Patient sei und ein Blutgerinnungsstörung habe. Das mache ihn zum Hochrisikopatienten - mit entsprechenden Zuschlägen. Hätte er die Krankheit tatsächlich, dürfte er aber wohl kaum im Vertrieb arbeiten und am Steuer sitzen, heißt es in dem Magazin......'

                                                          This is horrible for democracy,
                                                          and should terrify everyone.

                                                          It doesn't matter if platforms use third-parties or not. It doesn't matter if they use some special encrypted code, the result is the same. This gatekeeps open discussions and government criticisms free from reprisals.
