soc.octade.net is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.

This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.

                              📷 On Saturday, at Sister's place in the country, I threw Tater's favorite chewy around the yard and he brought it back uncountable times, until we were both exhausted. We came inside, and I collapsed into a recliner in the living room; he picked a spot on the cool wood floor at my feet. ❤️

                                It felt good to stand with like minded people to protest this afternoon. I've been flipped off more this past year than the whole rest of my life. Kind of a badge of honor, I think.
                                A change of scenery with less people, and noise was sounding pretty good by the time we were done.
                                Summer still needed a good run, so after I got home and changed into my beach going clothes we took off for the bay.
                                Just me and Summer.
                                The weather is beautiful, and we found a quiet spot by the water. Without four wheel drive it was a bit of a hike, but that's just what we needed.
                                Lots of wildlife around including a coyote who took me by surprise. We must not have been that interesting, so after giving us the once over, it was gone again, disappearing like it was never there.
                                Summer unfazed proceded to have some serious fun.
                                Not just a little, but a lot.
