The gup.pe domain was sold without the permission of the owner, there was apparently some weird little-known clause on .pe domains that allowed this to happen 😞 It now redirects to some random domain squatter.
However, there is an alternative Fediverse groups service at https://about.fedigroups.social/home which you might want to try.
If there isn't a group you want already, you can apply to set one up using the form on the website's front page.
