Ahh, here you are. And I was already following you!
I'm replying to the post announcement that started this conversation.
Steve, I've had a couple of replies from people interested in your work.
I added Steve Lawson to my public RSS Feed page.
Happy 28th blogiversary, Steve.
If Steve Lawson is on the fediverse let me know.
Thanks all and thanks to Steve Lawson for all the years of great bass playing.

Damn, just realised the incredible bassist Dill Katz passed away last year after I only discovered him a couple of years ago. Plenty of nice words said about him here:
#Bass players: my fingers have finally “healed” from the neuropathy (tingles and numbness) of the first couple of months’ learning.
Any tips on how to press down on the strings without injuring the nerves?

Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, marks my first of two nights at The Regattabar with my Foursight Quartet (Renee Rosnes, Jimmy Greene, and Payton Crossley). Each night, we will be taking the bandstand twice. The first will be at 7:30 pm, and the second will be at 9:30 pm.
I look forward to seeing all of you who are able to make it, and if you would like to attend any of my many upcoming shows, you can find tickets at my website: www.RonCarterJazz.com
I had my first musical session with someone who was not a member of my family.
William Mc Kellar was a guitarist with "The Verge(with Barry Ryan)" in the late 60s and early 70s. They put out a few singles with him.
I stumbled along with my #bass and be patiently went though the root notes with me. I now have some some Beatles and Yes (Roundabout) bass lines to work on for next time.
Great to contact you here on Mastodon.
I love your music. I play it often on Something Blue and Creative Commons Jazz. It's great to be in touch like this.
