          Random question for anybody:

Do you still use analog things? I still prefer my radio (dials and antenna) to listen to news and radio shows. I’m fortunate that our local public radio is excellent journalism. No terms and conditions, no privacy policy, no account signup, no algorithms. I can’t choose the topics but I’ve discovered new authors and ideas this way. I have a blue piece of tape on the dial marking my NPR station.

Apple now requires UK iPhone users to verify age via ID or card at OS level, shifting checks from sites to the device under regulatory pressure. 🪪
OS-level identity signals can be shared across apps, tying access to identity and raising privacy, control, and openness concerns as bypass becomes harder 🔐
