Garage is a lightweight, open-source object storage system you can self-host.

S3-compatible, it lets you run your own cloud storage backend without relying on third parties.

Designed for distributed setups, it replicates data across nodes and stays available even if some go offline.

I heard of TOR years ago but didn't bother learning more at the time.
Time to correct that I think.

"By using Tor for banal activities, when you aren't in any danger worse than a nasty ad-attack, you help to normalize the use of Tor and add more noise to the traffic. The more people do this, the more using Tor becomes just something people do when they care about privacy online, and nothing more."

                  THIS! Is scary as sh*t!

**A 770% surge in government requests to Big Tech is reshaping parenting**

                  proton.me/blog/big-tech-govern

And I don't think this is just hitting 'parenting' only, but is much broader. It's about *everybody.* Shocking was that FISA (US foreign intelligence) has encountered a nearly 25x increase in the last 11 years. And it's only to get worse.

                  is **NOT** your friend!

This is an analysis written up by @protonprivacy

A comment on this analysis is also quite interesting (from the 'parent' angle):

                  > As parents, we install baby gates and childproof our homes to protect what matters most. But one of the biggest risks our kids face today isn’t physical, it’s digital, and often left wide open.

If you've ever wondered: How can they know so much about me?

It's probably because of data brokers.

You know those "data enrichment partners" they are mentioning as vaguely as possible in the privacy policies you didn't read?

                            Despite being around for decades,
Tor is still a tool too few people know about. Tor is essential to journalists, activists, whistleblowers, dissidents, and people in vulnerable situations everywhere.

Thanks to Tor, activists have a safe way to continue fighting for human rights and resist censorship from oppressive regimes.

                            Here's how Tor works,

PH4NTXM is now in a stable state.

6+ months straight, day and night, countless builds, trial and error with a lot of work and research. Built something that isn’t just a project — it’s an ecosystem.

It’s not “finished.” It never will be. That’s the point.

                                          This isn’t ours anymore.
It belongs to all of us.

PH4NTXM is now a piece of the open source community — something we shape together, break together, rebuild together.

                                          Take it:
                                          - download it,
                                          - run it,
                                          - break it,
                                          - rebuild it,
                                          - fork it,
                                          - contribute to it,
                                          - make it your own.

If you’re into low-level systems, Linux internals, networking, runtime behavior — this is your playground.
If you’re not (yet), even better. Learn by getting your hands dirty inside it.

                                          github.com/PH4NTXMOFFICIAL/PH4

This is bigger than a system.

It’s a step toward building the future of privacy we deserve — and that should belong to all of us by right.

In an era of constant surveillance, we need tools that give power back —
systems that reinforce our right to privacy, not take it away.

PH4NTXM is a foundation for that direction.

Take it apart. Push it further. Contribute!

                                          PH4NTXM is yours now.
