                                Die EU-Kommission lässt in Kooperation mit Tech-Unternehmen wie T-Systems zur Zeit eine Altersverifikations-App entwickeln, mit der das Alter von Internetnutzer*innen kontrolliert werden soll. Die bezeichnet das geplante Verfahren als eine datenschutzfreundliche Lösung.

                                Auch wenn sie datenschutzrechtskonform implementiert werden würde, bedeutet die Verifikationspflicht die Errichtung einer zentralisierten, (über)staatlichen Kontrollinfrastruktur, die das Verhalten von Nutzer*innen kontrolliert.
