          The workings of the universe are a mystery to me.
          Right when I was feeling accomplished for getting our backlog of deferred maintenance list under control, it's not. I was even starting to entertain the thought that we might be able to start looking at getting some of the less immediate projects started.
          I am positive that the forces that goven these things know when to strike.
          Today the washing machine backed up into the kitchen sink, and it looks like our twenty year old refrigerator is struggling. Ugh.
          Summer says I must have pissed off whoever is in charge of choosing which humans to screw with. Since I've ruled out diving into the plumbing personally this time I'm calling a professional.
          Summer looks at me like I should probably figure out how to get on the right side of the universe again.
