                    After months of trying, I have finally documented a cownapping.

                    Stardust the tortie cat sits in the hidey hole of a cat tree. She's sticking her head out, looking down at the little plush Highland cow that's lying on the floor below her.

                      I figured out today why Star's chin was wet earlier this week.

                      Two cats on my bed, on top of the blankets. Stardust the dilute tortoiseshell is curled up, exposing her belly, and Charleston the black cat is sticking her face into her neck.

                                    When we adopted our tortie cats, the shelter had a questionnaire, asking "Do you know how much these kittens will cost", to which I replied, "More than I can possibly imagine. Always more."

                                    Years go by, and their needs become more extreme and absurd. Now the vet says they will require cat food that contains equal numbers of spin-up and spin-down electrons.

                                    Petsmart said that it's probably a type of Science Diet cat food that they can special order for us.

                                                    3. I made two phone calls that I've been putting off (because they're PHONE CALLS) for 5 weeks and 1 week, respectively.

The background circumscribed by the letter is gold. Where the crosstroke and "tail" of the "J" don't meet, a flying cat bridges the gap. At the other end of the crosstroke, a hairless cat sits up on its hind legs. We see this cat in profile. This cat is hunched over, its tail curling protectively around its body.
