                FBI training videos instructed analysts to redact Donald Trump's name from the Files. As reported by Attorney Katie Phang journalist Allison Gill said FBI analysts were instructed to "HIDE Trump's name and politically popular people's names” contrary to the law, and before prioritizing survivors’ protected information. She said analysts had to find each appearance of Trump's name, “redbox it in the files,” log it on a local spreadsheet and upload the entries to a master spreadsheet. After Gill filed a Freedom of Information Act request, the FBI acknowledged locating responsive training materials on redacting Trump's name.

                The FBI refused to release the
                materials, as required by law. Gill said,
                "FBI actually sent me a letter saying, we have training videos. They exist." Her federal case seeks access to those records, while a separate transparency lawsuit has already produced court-ordered disclosures from the Justice Department.

                                It's strange that a CBS news video is age-restricted. I saw the thumbnail image for only a moment, which YouTube promptly replaced with a sign-in requirement. But I do not have a YouTube account, because they locked me out. So, for me, this news video is effectively being censored. I guess the video shows the US military in an unfavorable light.
