Only a fool would deny that... I'm getting tired of all this anti-AI bullshit. It's just a very efficient automation tool with specific affordances that can be well used or badly used. OK, there are still some hiccups in terms of efficiency but this is mostly an engineering problem together with an illiteracy problem from the part of some users.
"The Star Wars director, George Lucas, has added his voice to the growing chorus of film-makers receptive to the rising use of AI tools in moviemaking.
Speaking in an interview with A Rabbit’s Foot, Lucas, 82, said: “Artificial intelligence means it’s much easier for us to make movies.”
Resistance to the technology, he said, was “very much like sitting here saying: ‘Well, I believe the horse and the buggy is really where it’s at. These cars, they break down, they need gas, there’s all kinds of problems with them and pretty soon they’ll be making them into tanks, and then they’ll be killing people. It’s terrible.’”
Adoption of such tools, continued Lucas, was an inevitability. “There’s nothing you can do about it. That’s progress, it’s the future.”
Lucas is not the only director of a Star Wars film to have come out in favour of AI. The British film-maker Gareth Edwards, who made Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and most recently Jurassic World Rebirth said generative AI “is a fucking genius at helping you”."

I watched it twice tonight, once to see what it was about. Then I got my son and we watched it together, he doesn't have any Warhammer knowledge outside of my recent ramblings, but he enjoyed it very much because of the over-the-top action and the visuals. I liked it for the same thing too, the 20-minute episode looks so good and is visually stunning.
Don't watch it if you're squeamish about violence and egregious bloodshed.

A friend gave me that DVD (Gattaca) many years ago, when I did not think about God.
Now that I know the truth, I see Gattaca is another movie telling a corrupt version of the true story. So many movies do this.
The life is in the blood.
One man gave his blood for us that we might live.
That man is, of course, Jesus. He is our perfect sacrifice.
The resonance in this story probably caused you to like it.

Assassination Games is a Van Damme family bonding vanity project as it stars Jean-Claude Van Damme, is executive produced by Jean-Claude Van Damme, co-produced by his daughter Bianca Van Damme, and features Jean-Claude Van Damme's son (Kris Van Damme) and daughter (Bianca Van Damme).
Bianca Van Damme shows much better acting chops than her father -- her character spends most of the movie in a coma.
Five minutes into Assassination Games there is a shot of a dog taking a piss on a sidewalk and that set the tone for the rest of the movie and its color grading. The movie is washed out and color graded yellow.
In 2011 when this movie was released Scott Adkins was 35 and JCVD was 50. The filmmakers had to go through some hoops to make it look like JCVD could hold his own against Adkiins.
For an action film this is heavy on talk and light on action which is disappointing because they underutilize the skills of Adkins.
