PhotoGIMP is a free, open-source patch that makes GIMP feel much more like Adobe Photoshop.

It adds Photoshop-style keyboard shortcuts, a familiar workspace layout, reorganized tools, and a refined UI—helping Photoshop users switch without losing their workflow.

A great way to ditch subscriptions while keeping powerful image editing capabilities.

Can anyone recommend a form feeding document scanner with full duplex support that is very well supported by Linux? I'd like something with a paper tray size of at least 10 pages, but more is better.

Command line support strongly preferred, but I'll take what I can get.

Another great shout out to @vermaden for this thorough introduction to , especially if one is coming from . It may be several years old but much of the info is still relevant today.

The FreeBSD Handbook is great but the additional details and context for the topics covered are where this document really shines.

This needs to be required reading for anyone curious about the OS.
